Darrell was born in Day County, South Dakota and has been a resident for the majority of his life.  He lived outside of S.D. for two and one-half years while serving in the military and working for a National Company.  He has two adult children who both have degrees from the University of S.D.

As a business owner for over 25 years, Darrell brings an awareness of our state’s economic climate and the strength to take on the challenges.  Darrell has been active in devoting time and money to community, church, service, and youth organizations.  Darrell has the leadership skills it takes to get things done.
